Oh my gosh! You will laugh, cry, swoon and fall in love with the girls and guys from the Seaside! Bella, Jenna, Leanna, Amy and along comes Sky, never cease to have you laughing and loving! They are quite the friends. The books definitely make you want to go to their quaint little part of the world and spend the Summer with them. I couldn’t put them down. I have begun at the beginning of the “Love in Bloom†series and will tell you they sick you in. Be ready for the cleaning and housework to go by the wayside!
As usual MElissa gets you do involved with each character and story you can not put the book down. I recommend all her books
I never had friendships like these women have, totally unconditional, totally accepting, totally giving AND forgiving!! I had read the first two, but then bought this box set to read the third, Then I had to buy the fourth! Not so much just to see who FINALLY gets paired off, but to see what the others are getting up to these days. I really enjoyed all three books--and the characters are well developed and no one acts out of character, even though there are a LOT of people to keep track of. I never forget who has big boobs, who has the wild laaugh, who has the jam handprints on her pants, But the emphasis is always on the main couple who are falling in love, fighting love, accepting love after a LONG crushing time (I'm looking at YOU, Pete!!!)A lovely read (don't start on a Monday or early in the week unless you don't have to work. I would shut off my reader at 2 am, then start wondering about whatever conflict, problem, stubborn thoughts were keeping a couple apart. By 3 am, I would have picked up the reader to see if the answer was in the next chapters I would read. And sometimes, after ebing satisfied, I could sleep--only to have to reread the satisfying part because I was so tired I couldn't remember, or I wanted to relive the moment!)
I enjoyed all three of these stories more than I thought I would. Half way through the first one I found that I was "involved" with all the characters. Once I finished the last one I knew that first chance I will get the next in the series. I laughed, a LOT, at the antics, the romance, the quirky natures of all the people. Not often do series hold the attention and the flow of the characters involved, especially with each of their stories being complete. These do and they are done well. I could easily read these again and enjoy them just as much as the first time. Gladly will recommend this series to anyone.

A really fun romance novel. But in addition it's the friends-closer-than-sisters up for anything all summer In the cape shore community. Their personalities differ, but even more, they adjust to situations involving New relationships...with men.
So. The characters are interesting enough, the writing good enough, and the stories engaging enough. Enough for what? Enough to overcome some really annoying things. First, the constant comparison of characters’ bodies to those of famous people. Not just one character does that, which could be explained as a unique viewpoint of that character, but all of them. They also all seem to be very focused on each others’ bodies. Also, I wish there were more use of condoms. The whole ‘I’m on the pill’ thing is getting old very fast.In general, though, I care about these characters. I want to know they all get their happily ever afters, and want to read about how it happens.
Each book was wonderful alone, characters stayed true to themselves even when reappearing in the other books. I despise cliffhangers! I like a well written book that ties up all loose ends and ends things. These books do that, but then when you continue the series the same people reappear and it's like being with old friends. Very enjoyable way to spend some time with all the women and the men who love them!
